YOUR HEART CHAKRA
To create harmony in life, it is helpful to understand the energy of each chakra and how to keep the energy flowing freely.
Energy moves through the chakras like water through a garden hose. Ideally, you want a nice steady flow of energy through each of your chakras. If there is a leak or a bend in a garden hose in one spot, it will affect the flow of water through the entire hose. Similarly, if the energy is getting stuck in one chakra or bleeding out from another, it will impact each of the other chakras. An imbalance in the flow of energy creates physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stress. A prolonged imbalance can manifest as disease, injury, or illness.
Below you will find some basic information on what it looks like when your chakra is healthy and the energy is flowing freely. You will also find the symptoms of a clogged or leaking chakra and how that may manifest in your body.
I want to share , this video clip from a children’s TV show, to me it is the best way to explain the Chakras.

METHODS TO NURTURE YOUR HEART CHAKRA
You can nurture your chakra with specific activities, colors, foods, crystals, minerals, and essential oils. It’s as simple as engaging in the activity or bringing the item into your environment. You might choose jewelry with a specific crystal or mineral to wear or you might just find a small stone and keep it in your pocket. You could incorporate an essential oil into your perfume/cologne or diffuse it in your room. For a little extra zing, put the oil directly on your chakra. Whatever you do, choose the options that speak to you or just feel right to you. Allow yourself the freedom to experiment until you find the right combination for yourself.

BE KIND TO YOURSELF
Know that life brings natural fluctuations of energy and emotions. Creating harmony requires tuning into yourself and consistently making adjustments. When you first begin this process, it may feel like you are swinging on a pendulum, making huge changes to try and find your balance. That’s okay and it’s perfectly normal. As you learn to tune into your body and your energetic field, you will learn to feel the subtle shifts in energy and your response time will increase, requiring smaller adjustments to maintain your balance and create harmony. Be patient with yourself as you develop this skill.

WHAT CAUSES INBALANCE?
We all create patterns of thinking and behaving that are rooted in our childhood. Sometimes, we are very aware of these patterns and where they stem from. We can even see how they benefit or harm us. And then there are those patterns so deeply buried that we are blind to them. We are only aware of the symptoms – the imbalances.
For example: A child is called to the front of the room to read aloud in class and then stumbles to pronounce a new word, causing the other children to laugh. The teacher laughs along and then provides the correct pronunciation.
That child may consciously choose to become the class clown – deliberately making mistakes in the future in order to create laughter. As an adult, the child now uses jokes and laughter to ease tension and avoid potential embarrassment. Joking around has become both a tool and a mask to hide behind.
Or, that child may unconsciously decide it is unsafe to ever make a mistake – a pattern of perfectionism is born. It shows up in childhood as a drive to do well in school. As a teen, that becomes an obsession with getting straight A’s and having all the answers. As an adult, it may show up as a sky rocketing career and the desire to create and hold the perfect family image. But underneath it all, the adult is exhausted. They start having panic attacks before the presentation at work and social anxiety over going to a party.
In both scenarios, the adult believes this is just part of their personality and they have to live with it.
But that’s not true!
If you weren’t born with it, you learned it.
And that’s exciting because that means you can shift it!
ARE YOU READY FOR MORE?
I’ve provided you with a number of options that you can play with on your own. The tools I’ve listed above are designed for maintenance of your balance and harmony. When you feel a little off, you can choose from the list to get yourself back on track.
But maintenance comes after the deep clearing. And deep clearing needs a personalized plan. A plan that takes into account your unique experiences, how you learned from them, and the unique patterns you have developed. I can give a general prescription to alleviate panic attacks – listen to your heart. And that will be helpful to most people, but that’s just a coping mechanism. In order to stop those panic attacks, we have to dive into your unique patterns.
Healing REQUIRES a personalized plan.
Personalization changes everything!
It makes healing simple and available to anyone.
If you’re ready to explore a personalized plan, we should talk.
The chakras are a blueprint for your own self-care. Chakras are energy centers. Although most people have heard of seven chakras, there are actually 114 in the body. The human body is a complex energy form; in addition to the 114 chakras, it also has 72,000 “nadis,” or energy channels, along which vital energy, or “prana,” moves. The most direct way to use the chakras is to learn how each one is associated with an element in nature. The first five chakras are associated with the physical elements earth, water, fire, air, and ether (or space). The last two chakras are thought to connect us beyond the earthly realm, so they are associated with the elements of light and cosmic energy. The word chakras means “plexus,” “wheel,” or “vortex.” It refers to a number of centers in the subtle anatomy of the human being, with each center corresponding to a different level of consciousness. Chakras are known by various names, including pranic centers, psychic centers, psycho-energetic centers, and cerebrospinal centers.
I tend to concentrate on between 7-11 major chakras when I am doing my energy healing work.
There are ton’s of books written articles and search sites about the chakras. However, you are probably visiting this blog, because I have sent you here to read up on a certain Chakras that pertains to your own healing session.
