Kitchen Witch- Intention Pot’s
Simmer pots smell i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e, but combine that aroma with intention and watch the energy around you shift.
I want to discuss one of my favorite ways to make your home smell wonderful while also setting intentions for the day, time to make magic in the kitchen.
Simmer Pots!!
A simmer pot is a great way to do a little magic without all the smoke & candles.
I start by grabbing 3 to 5 bay leaves, writing my intentions for the day on them & then gathering ingredients to match that intention.
After I have my ingredients ready (cut, chopped, gathered fresh etc depending on my intention) I will put half a pot of moon water on the stove at medium heat.
Stirring clockwise & speaking the written intentions I will add my bay leaves 1 by 1. Once my bay leaves are in the pot, I will add apple, orange, lemon, lime, cinnamon, vanilla, rosemary etc., while stirring clockwise & speaking my intentions or prayers.
With each ingredient I will speak as to why it was added. Example: sage to cleanse this space, orange bring me happiness, cinnamon to quicken the flow of Abundance dance etc.
Every 30 min I will return to my pot (I keep it on medium until it gets hot & then move it to a lower heat as to not scorch it) stirring clockwise & speaking my intentions again.
This pot can stay on all day & about 2 hours before bed switch off the heat. Once the mix has cooled, pour into big mason jars & refrigerate.
I then restart the pot upon rise for 3 days. Once 3 days have passed I make the mix into spray bottles to use as air freshener or pour it onto my plants & garden. By using it in the garden my plants hold my intentions as they grow.
*Other tips & tricks:
You can use a crockpot or slowcooker rather than a pot on the stove.
You can tailor the ingredients as specific spells, for the Season or specific to the wheel of the year.
