August – THE AWAKENING
Welcome to August 2022! August starts with a BANG – the BANG being the once-in-a lifetime, much-anticipated Mars-North Node-Uranus conjunction in Taurus. This is a once in a lifetime aspect of tremendous movement, sudden events, and destiny. Many of you, My Darkling’s, could feel like things around you are blowing up in massive proportion or there is a liberation factor around things, people and situations that no longer serve your highest good.
Let’s have a look at the most important transits of the month:
August 1st 2022 – Mars Conjunct North Node And Uranus
It’s futile to predict what will happen when we have a Uranus transit.
Best course of action? Pay attention. Be aware. Say yes to opportunities.
I would suggest to try to keep yourself as grounded and calm as possible with this transit. While sudden and amazing breakthroughs can happen, this combo of Mars/Uranus and the North Node can be relentless and destructive if not handled with care. Being cautious while driving, operating machinery, taking on new projects/plans is advised. We will be under the influence of this aspect for the first week of August.
The people most impacted by this aspect will be my darklings with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 18 degrees of Taurus or any other fixed sign( Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius). If you have any other planets or major asteroids close to the 18 degree of Taurus, be on alert and aware as well. For everyone else, check where 18 degrees of Taurus falls in your chart to get clues of how this Mars/Uranus/North Node in Taurus could bring in radical, passionate and sudden events/occurrences into your life.
August 4th, 2022 – Mercury Enters Virgo
Good news for everyone. This is our opportunity to tap into Mercury’s superpowers to sort out loose ends, solve communication problems, and figure things out.
August 7th, 2022 – Mars Enters Taurus and Saturn
Today’s energy could feel very tense and depressive. Lots of feelings of frustration and a ” go/stop/go/stop” mentality that can bring on difficulty. The best way to deal with Mars and Saturn is to remain disciplined and as cool headed as possible. That won’t necessarily be easy as both planets are in the fixed signs that can be very stubborn and “dug in”. Great effort and concentration can be recognized now if you are able to keep yourself centered and remain aware + compassionate.
For my darklings, who have their inner planets/points between 18-21 degrees of the fixed signs( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) will feel this one the most and should be extra cautious and vigilant with their words, actions and deeds. For everyone else check where 18-21 degrees of Taurus and Aquarius falls in your natal chart to see where there could be some battles of your willpower, drive and determination.
August 11th, 2022 – Venus Enters Leo
This means that our feelings and emotional displays will be set on high for the next few weeks. Venus in Leo encourages us to make a statement about our wants and desires. This is our opportunity to be honest about how we feel, to let others know it! You don’t want to be subtle when Venus is in Leo. Say what you want. Say how you feel. Your authentic expression will encourage others to do the same.
August 12th, 2022 – Full Moon In Aquarius
A very strong manifesting energy. This is when some of our most important projects may come to life. Hard work will pay off.
This Full Moon will feel sober and heavy – it will show us where we need to get our act together, behave like an adult, and take charge of our destiny. We are ready to set ourselves free of restrictions that have held us back and focus our feelings on our hopes and dreams. There is a very futuristic energy that will be noticed and felt by all.
For my darklings who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 19 degrees of Aquarius, expect to be greatly impacted by this lunation with unexpected manifestations and culminations. August 20th, 2022 – Mars Enters Gemini
Are you ready for 7 months of Mars in Gemini? All Mars retrogrades are interesting, but I have the feeling that this one will be particularly interesting.
As always, the triggered area of your chart will come into focus. This time we’re talking about 8°-25° Gemini. Nevertheless pay attention to any themes that come up on , August 20th. It’s very likely these themes will come under scrutiny in the next few months.
August 23rd, 2022 – Sun Enters Virgo
Happy birthday to all Virgos out there!
Whether you live in the Northern or in the Southern Hemisphere, Virgo is the “get ready for the next season” time of the year.
Virgo’s role is to ensure that our affairs are set in order – the harvest has been safely gathered, and we’re prepared for the next chapter of our lives. The Virgo season is the best time of the year to fix what’s not working, get organized, and do self-development work. Time to clean up our act whether it be around our health, career or family affairs. It is time to come back to the basics and relish in the earthly abundance of the universe.
August 25th, 2022 – Uranus Goes Retrograde
In the next few months, some light bulbs will switch on. Internal shifts of change and transformation to our values and sense of self worth. Radical inner enlightenment that is based around standing up for our beliefs around what and who we deserve will be the theme for the next 6 months. Uranus retrograde could bring forth some very unusual inventions connected to our monetary systems and agricultural landscape.
For my darklings who have their inner planets/points at 18 degrees of the fixed signs( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) (again) this retrograde of Uranus will bring in life changing and surprising occurrences tied to the most fundamental areas of their lives. August 26th, 2022 – Mercury Enters Libra
Are you too opinionated, or on the contrary, too accommodating? Do you jump to conclusions or do you take lots of time to make up your mind?
The keyword for Mercury in Libra – and for any planet in Libra – is balance. This is a great transit for negotiations, reaching agreements, and finding win-win outcomes.
This means that the area of your life that is Libra-ruled will come into focus in the next couple of months. More will follow about Mercury retrograde in Libra in next month’s forecast.
August 27th, 2022 – New Moon In Virgo
The New Moon in Virgo is here to bring in a fresh air of grounded practicality and structures. This is a great time to clean out the closets in our house and the cobwebs of our mind. A solid and hyper aware energy comes forth that can be very critical in nature. Coming back to the earth and creating goals and workable solutions is what this New Moon holds. It might seem a little boring but anything that is sustainable and reliable takes genuine effort, commitment and mindfulness.
For my darklings who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 4 degrees of Virgo will be most impacted by this critical new moon. Expect major new beginnings connected to efficiency, order and the nitty gritty details of life. For everyone else, check where 4 degrees of Virgo falls in your natal chart to see where you will be encouraged to start new projects/plans that are based in grounded principles and that provide a service to others.
August 2022 is a month where major shifts of consciousness are possible. While many of my darklings world’s will be shocked and rocked there is a calmer and smoother energy that takes a foot towards the later part of the month. An awakening of what is truly important and meaningful is what this next month holds. While some people will have to get major wake up calls around what is truly worthy of their time and energy, others will surrender to it with more ease and grace. August 2022 wants you to stand up for yourself in big and bold ways. She is here to bring in massive wake up calls connected to our values, trying times that utilize our strength of character and will and the promise that the best things in life are simple, pure and based in unconditional love.
