Astro-Mia Thoughts Full Moon in Capricorn

On June 24th, 2021 we have a Full Moon in Capricorn.

This is a beautiful Full Moon that will give us a renewed sense of faith and optimism.  The Full Moon in Capricorn is a reconciliation between our past and the treasures we carry, and the possibilities of the future.

We should never forget where we’ve come from, yet my Darklings’, just like the bird eventually leaves the nest, we need to eventually embrace our OWN path.  2021 is not just a trip to the supermarket. 2021 is not “business as usual”. 2021 is “the beginning of a long journey by water”.  So we have to be ready. We have to be well prepared. And when the  canoe eventually reaches its destination, we will know that it was all worth it.

What needs to be done in order to be prepared?  That, My Darklings’, is the question.

Capricorn is the sign that gets stuff done at all costs and with this full moon you can bring some of that energy into the creation of whatever it is that you are trying to bring into this life for yourself.  Do the hard work of taking action to release all that is in your way and manifest more of what matters.

Here are a few questions for you to consider:

• What does abundance LOOK like for you?

• How can you ruthlessly create that into being?

• What needs to go for you to make space for what you want?

• What does the kind of person look like and act like who is living the future you want for yourself?

If you’re an astrology minded person, like I am, take some time to have a look at your birth chart. What is in the sign of Capricorn on your chart? This is where the full moon is going to hit particularly hard and be even more powerful for you.

Right before the full moon, Mercury stations direct and forms a conjunction to the north node. This is a great time to apply the lessons and information received during Mercury retrograde. Trust that the knowledge and wisdom you have gained is enough to create a foundation for success.

During this full moon a ritual bath can be used to clear energetic blockages and open yourself to attracting love and abundance.

You will need:

▽bath salts

▽charged crystal (rose quartz for love, citrine for abundance)

▽ a candle (pink for love, green for abundance)

▽meditation music

As you soak in the bath, place the crystal on your heart. Ask for guidance, to reveal what is holding you back from attracting your desires. Take a few deep breaths, with each exhale visualize these obstacles and blockages dissolving and flowing away from you.

Close your eyes and place the crystal on your 3rd eye. Visualize that you already have what you are trying to attract. Visualize every detail, incorporating all the senses, and allow yourself to fully experience all the emotions.

When you are done, snuff out the candle and say aloud, “I am ready to manifest love/abundance.”

For bath salts:

▽½ cup Epsom salts

▽¼ cup rock salt

▽¼ cup pink Himalayan salt

▽3 Tbsp bicarbonate of soda

▽Essential oils:

love: rose, sandalwood

abundance: citrus, juniper, cinnamon

▽Herbs:

love: rose petals, bay

abundance: fresh citrus, basil
