On January 12/13th, we have a powerful and potent New Moon at 23 degrees of Capricorn. Usually, right before a new moon, we can feel a little out of sorts and experience lower energy levels. The reason that this happens is because we are ruled by the moon cycles and with no moonlight to guide us, we can feel lost and uneasy.
The New Moon in Capricorn is here to bring on some radical transformations. This first new moon of this new year is here to knock you over with a feather!
No more playing small.
No more settling.
It is time to rise up from the ashes and proclaim our most amazing and badass selves!!
A rising surge of power and potent potential is what this baby is all about! Owning your path is what this next lunar cycle is bringing forth. If you have felt stuck or just in the “blahs” of life, this New Moon in the Capricorn wants you to reclaim your ultimate destiny.

What have you come to accomplish?
How bad do you want it?

These questions will be the major themes of this next lunar cycle. The time has come! No more waiting and wondering. No more holding back and second guessing. It is time to show the world what you are made of and do it with class, self respect and grace.
The New Moon in Capricorn is a call to stand up and proclaim your ultimate stamp on the world. This is a perfect lunar cycle to get that business started, ask for that raise or attract new sources of income. We will be asked to get to work and to become 100% committed to our goals and plans.

Many old structures, both internally and externally will have to go during this new moon. Any old conversations of lack or disempowerment will be banished and released at this time. As painful as this process can be, there is a sense of ultimate self responsibility and accountability with this lunar cycle. True leadership is when we can take ownership for our light and our darkness. They in fact both need to exist. When we don’t resist our brilliance, what might come forth? Perhaps a whole new version of our power and purpose? Or perhaps a strength and resolve that has lied dormant? The New Moon will bring on a complete mind shift and re calibration of our DNA. If we surrender and let go, it’s promise is one of our ultimate success and rise of our truest, most authentic self.
This New Moon is here to offer a glimpse and possibility of owning our power and standing up for our brilliance. It’s message is to not fear change but to embrace it and let it be a catalyst for your ultimate improvement. It takes hard work, consistency and constant transformation to be in alignment with our truest destiny.
The beautiful thing about this New Moon is its message that no one can take away your power unless you allow it. And…. when you feel like you lost it….. there is always a way to reinvent yourself and get it back. This is what is called “doing the damn work” Need I mention, my favorite phrase? Shadow-work?…. lol. No shortcuts, no instant gratification. There is power and enlightenment in just putting your head down and doing the work. This is the kind of power that no one or no thing can take away from you. It is yours for all of eternity.
