“Marigold, Summer’s Bride”

One of my favorite herbal allies, Calendula is a staple in an Herbalists medicine chest. Commonly used in topical salves, poultices & other skin remedies; this flower top is also a great addition to your nightly tea and can aid in stomach issues. It is known to be antiviral and antibacterial and is found in many oral health products.

Magickal Properties:

Fire element. Sun. Masculine. 

This herb is powerful in love magick, and can be used to draw forth an honest lover. Calendula flowers diffuse negative energy and are effective when cleansing your space, tools and self before a ritual. It’s said that by walking in a field of calendula flowers that you will be able to better understand birds.
