BODYWORK- ACUPRESSURE TREATMENT

Description

A bodywork massage  may be described as an extreme deep tissue massage where acupressure is used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle “knots” or adhesion’s (bands of painful, rigid tissue) that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. I incorporate, TCM,  during this bodywork massage.

What is acupressure? Acupressure, is an alternative medicine technique similar in principle to acupuncture.  It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through “meridians” in the body. I incorporate, TCM,  during this bodywork massage.  Alternative modalities may be added, scraping and taping.

My most requested service is what I term “The Deep 6”, this is where I release the muscles in your lower body.

• Piriformis
• Gluteus
• Gemellus superior
• Obturatur internus
• Gemellus inferior
• Obturatur externus
• Quadratus femoris
• Abducturs & Adductors
• Sciatic Nerve Tensor fascia Latae
• Iliotibal Tract

If needed, add the:

• Iliacus
• Psoas
• Quadratus Lumborum

Thats just the lower part of your body, I do head to toe, depending on your ailments.

Longer sessions are available as needed, increments of 15 minutes.
